Respiratory muscle
The key point of walking exercise is
lifting up of the spinal muscle
using respiratory muscle.

In year of 2012, Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research
proposed that exercising respiratory muscle increased
the performances of athletes.

Also, in Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies 2004
pointed out that wrong breathing pattern can be responsible
for pain in the skeletal system, especially in the neck pain.

Therefore, correct breathing treatment is very important.

How to walk properly

“ Posture is the first step for walking comfort and energy.
Focus on respiratory muscle while you walk. ”

  1. STEP 01

    Lift your chest and try to expand your lungs fully while you breathe.

  2. STEP 02

    Pull in your lower abdomen and tighten the sphincter muscles.

  3. STEP 03

    Slightly lift your chin and look 15° upward.

  4. STEP 04

    Place both feet horizontally on the floor.

  5. STEP 05

    Swing your arms freely with a slight bend in your elbows.

  6. STEP 06

    Stride smoothly, rolling your foot from heel to toe.
